Walk in the Light of the Lord

The pupils decided that this would be the school motto from September 2007.

It was a surprising choice. When asked why it was his choice a boy in year 6 said that light shows us the way and that is like Jesus showing us the way to live our life.  Very impressive thinking!

Religious education

This is taught through units based on the Staffordshire Agreed syllabus for RE and the Diocesan Guidelines. They are designed to develop each child’s spirituality and morality; awareness of God and our Christian heritage; a sense of awe, wonder and joy; and a respect for other religions and cultures. Opportunities for developing these qualities in pupils are also woven throughout the rest of the curriculum.
