On Friday 22th February Churchfield football and netball teams played away matches at St.Joseph's Primary School, Rugeley.

In football, Churchfield  scored first, bucking the trend of recent games, with a great long range shot from Adam Shaw. St. Joseph's soon equalised and took the lead before half time. Churchfield's skill and fluency began to pay and with a fantastic goal from Bradley Hodgson, they brought the score to 2 all. The second half was mostly Churchfield, who went on to win the match 2-5 maintaining their 100% record in the Rugeley League.

After intensive lunchtime training, the netball team faced their first competitive game against St. Joseph's. The agreed format was Hi 5 and the team were keen to try out the skills. The match was well supported by parents, as was the football, and at the end of the 4th quarter Churchfield were victorious winning by 10 clear goals. Thanks goes to Holly Tiernan in managing the team.

Well done to both teams and good luck in upcoming matches.

The football team have been invited to participate in a Stafford Tournament at Leasowes Primary School, and the netball team face Redbrook Hayes a week Monday.
