Walk in the Light of the Lord

The pupils decided that this would be the school motto from September 2007.

It was a surprising choice. When asked why it was his choice a boy in year 6 said that light shows us the way and that is like Jesus showing us the way to live our life.  Very impressive thinking!

New Beginnings

Eggcellent News!!!!

On Monday we had a visit from a local chicken breeder who brought in two hens to our morning assembly. These were 'Polish' hens which are very unusual looking and extremely tame.

He also brought an incubator and 6 hens eggs for us to hatch as a whole school project.

The eggs were laid by 'Sussex Light' hens (which are pure breed poultry).

The eggs will take 21 days to hatch and the children will be able to check the progress of the chicks at regular intervals before the hatching. 

Chick Club will be held in Miss Buckley's room and interested children will be informed when the chicks are to be inspected.
