Walk in the Light of the Lord

The pupils decided that this would be the school motto from September 2007.

It was a surprising choice. When asked why it was his choice a boy in year 6 said that light shows us the way and that is like Jesus showing us the way to live our life.  Very impressive thinking!

Handa's Surprise fruit tasting
Year 1 have been reading the book Handa's Surprise. It is about a girl called Handa who takes some fruit to her friend Akeyo but on the way, animals pinch most of the delicious fruits! Handa's Surprise fruit tasting



Handwriting

Class 1A have been concentrating really hard on their handwriting over the past school term. We looked at the letters a, c, d, g, f and s. When we had practiced our handwriting we had fun being creative, making craft items linked to the letters! Here are some of our efforts:

Key Stage One to take on Flat Stanley Project

Key Stage one, along with the Foundation stage are to build up links with schools on an international level. This will be based around the book 'Flat Stanley'.
