Walk in the Light of the Lord

The pupils decided that this would be the school motto from September 2007.

It was a surprising choice. When asked why it was his choice a boy in year 6 said that light shows us the way and that is like Jesus showing us the way to live our life.  Very impressive thinking!

Churchfield is a Church of England Controlled Primary School & nursery with a combined total of 180 pupils, based just south of the centre of Rugeley town within its own beautiful grounds.

Churchfield Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is a co-educational day school administered by Staffordshire County Council.

Children are admitted into the Nursery in the September of the academic year they are four years old.  If places are available a child may be taken in during the year.  The nursery runs for five mornings and children are expected to attend all of the sessions.

Children are admitted to the Reception Class in the September of the academic year they are five years old.

At the end of Year 6 pupils either transfer to Hagley Park Sports College or Fair Oak High School which both serve the Rugeley area.
