Walk in the Light of the Lord

The pupils decided that this would be the school motto from September 2007.

It was a surprising choice. When asked why it was his choice a boy in year 6 said that light shows us the way and that is like Jesus showing us the way to live our life. Very impressive thinking!

Amazing Animation Day!

On Tuesday 8th April, Peter Ralley came into school to teach year 3/4BC about animation.

In the morning, they were all introduced to the 'Pivot' animation program and had to produce a short film. After this fun Pivot lesson, year 3/4 learned to record mini films in the style of 'Wallace and Gromit' using Simpson figures and 'Digital Blue' Cameras! By the afternoon all the class were confident enough to make a longer film using their own figures, adding text and music!

They thought it was a great experience and can't wait to create more films in the future!
